We treat our patients like family in our soothing spa-like setting. We offer complimentary coffee, tea, chilled water, DVD's, neck support pillows, soft blankets, lavender eye pillows, and candles to relax the already uneasy dental patient. We find that kids relax better in this type of environment. We also offer oral and IV sedation, for many procedures to add to your level of comfort.

That is why at North Valley Family Dentistry we take a Total Body Health approach to oral care. We do an oral cancer screening, take blood pressure and pulse at every visit. Oral health is an indicator as to what is happening inside your entire body. That is why we, your dentist and hygienist, are concerned about any inflammation, bleeding or decay we may find in your mouth, because this is a sign of infection. We make sure you are aware of effects certain medications and conditions have on your oral health. In addition, diabetes, high blood pressure, a pre-disposition to heart disease, auto-immune conditions, stress and any recent illness can negatively affect your mouth. Maximized oral health can also create self-esteem and confidence in your life. Having a healthy beautiful smile creates a feeling of well being and this can help improve personal relationships as well as your work.
